During this two-day conference, learn from creators and practitioners within the field of Competency-Based Education, including author and presenter, Robert Marzano, and colleagues Bill Zima and Paul Wright from Marzano Academies and Scott Bacon, Matt Shea and Sean Duncan from the Center for Competency Based Education and Empower Learning. The conference is designed to take teachers and administrators on a research-driven, step-by-step journey on to how develop a Competency-Based system within a school or district. Attendees will leave with specific skills and knowledge related to implementing CBE systems, in a sequential, phased-in manner within their classrooms, schools and or districts. Educators, including district decision makers, principals, and school staff interested in transforming their classrooms, schools, and organizations from traditional environments to CBE systems are highly encouraged to attend.
